Our Team

Leo Queralt and Emma Husted-Sherman first met in 2015 while working at GLG, a leading Austin-based professional services firm. Leo built a successful 12-year career with GLG, holding various leadership positions, while Emma pursued a career in R&D operations for prominent technology companies.

What started as a strong friendship naturally evolved into a committed partnership, both personally and professionally. Since 2020, Leo and Emma have lived together in East Austin with their two dogs, Zoey and Odin. Emma currently works at Algolia, where she leads user experience operations, and Leo has recently transitioned from his full-time role to focus exclusively on acquiring a business. Post-acquisition, Leo is prepared to take on the operator role.

Leo's professional expertise lies in people leadership, client relationships, and operational efficiency. During his 12-year tenure at GLG, he led some of the company's highest-performing teams and developed a reputation for building strong followership among his team members. Starting as an intern in 2012, Leo rose through the ranks and left GLG in 2024 as a Senior Vice President.

Born and raised in Dallas, Leo has called Austin home for over 15 years. A passionate runner, he is currently training for two marathons this winter. Leo holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Texas, with minors in Business Administration and Statistics. In 2024, he also completed Austin Community College’s Small Business Management series.

Emma brings over six years of experience leading operations for user experience teams at top tech companies, including Google and Twilio. Known for her ability to bring structure, process, and efficiency to her teams, Emma has earned a strong reputation for professionalizing early-stage organizations. Her strengths lie in creating effective systems that drive sustainable growth and operational success.

Originally from Philadelphia, Emma moved to Austin after graduating from Tufts University with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. While at Tufts, she was a member of the women’s soccer team and actively involved in the Student Athlete Advisory Committee and the Tufts Student Fund Leadership Corps.

Together, Emma and Leo are dedicated to acquiring and growing a business in Central Texas that aligns with their skills, values, and ambitions. Their vision is to sustain the business’s legacy while driving expansion through service excellence, people-focused leadership, and strong community relationships. With their combined expertise in leadership, commercial strategy, and operations, they are committed to ensuring a smooth transition and continued, long-term success for the business they acquire.

They are excited to connect with business owners seeking a capable and committed team to take over and grow their legacy, and they look forward to exploring how their shared values and experience can contribute to the ongoing success of the business.
